I currently work as a member of technical staff at NestAI. Almost all of my work during recent years has focused on neural networks and deep learning on various topics. In particular, I have been working on model based reinforcement learning, model predictive control, and computer vision, but I have a wide interest in different machine learning methods and application areas.

Regarding my education, I have a Ph.D. in Bayesian statistics and machine learning, which I completed under supervision of Professor Aki Vehtari at Aalto University in 2019. My award winning thesis deals with predictive inference and feature selection for scarce but high-dimensional data using generalized linear models and Gaussian processes (see Publications).
